Author Suzanne Walter has definitely written a keeper with her latest release, DIAMONDS ARE A COWGIRL'S BEST FRIEND, from Avalon. Ms. Walter has a wonderful writing talent, and her well-written words kept me quickly turning the pages. The characters were deeply emotional and certainly captivating. I really love the racehorse scene, and it's evident that Ms. Walter did her research and implemented it wonderfully in this great romantic adventure. If you haven't read Suzanne Walter, then I highly recommend reading DIAMONDS ARE A COWGIRL'S BEST FRIEND. You won't be disappointed. So, add this one to your list, and pick it up in February 2005.

A story that has the reader falling in love with these two from the first page. You know they were meant to be together and it's the process that shows the road they will travel to find out that they are in love. A love story that can be read over and over again.

Chase is a wonderful male character. Here is a man that loves his family, stands by his friends and almost loses himself trying to make sure those he cares about are ok. The way he pursues Abby is enjoyable. He doesn't sway her with riches; instead he offers hard work, persistence and friendship. Their dialogue and interactions are laced with humor and ensure that readers are hooked as they wait to see if these two individuals can find a common ground. Ms. Walter's style delivers a story that is a pleasant diversion from the everyday and is sure to be a hit with fans.
